Takin' Time 04:23
If you wanna tell stories 'bout your mother I'll sit and listen to them, now. If rememberin' makes you happy, go on and be happy bout it, yeah. Cause you know takin' time is not wastin' time go on, make time. You said in passin', that that song's in fashion but I don't have the ears for that, no. Maybe one day we'll hear our favorites Playin' back on tapes that we made, yeah Cause you know takin' time is not wastin' your time. Go on, make time. Take your time Waste your time Make your time And if you wanna tell stories 'bout your mother I'll sit and listen to them.

Breezy 03:56
Sometimes when I'm out campin', think this is the way to live. Because I can feel at ease, especially when I feel the breeze. The leaves may rustle around, and there's no train leavin' for the town. When the sun comes pourin' down, wish you would come around. Cus there might be a surprise in store when you can't even hear the roar. The birds may fly right by, and your favorite crops will never die.

Maybe I'll park my car and sail my carpet into work. Maybe I'll stay home and just eat dirt. And when you find place where you like what you do, that's where you can move and breathe. Maybe I'll plant some ashes and grow some shade. Maybe I'll hang myself out on the line to dry. I guess I'll stay home and just eat dirt. And when you find place where you like what you do, that's where you can move and breathe. Move and breathe. Eat the dirt where you come from. Eat the dirt where you're goin'.

about

"chamber music from a country that I didn't know existed..."

Bookended by instrumentals, Summer Swoon captures the Treemen as a duo, with their melodica and guitar meandering through new melodies and reimagined older ones. Can these songs help keep summer alive as the light fades?
